DECEMBER 2011: Moving building - Cooperation - New Manager
Moving to a new building
As per January 23rd 2012 we will move to a bigger, more spacious and modern building in Purmerend. Although the new building is only 300 meters away from our current office, to us it is a giant leap forward. Our new address will be: Netwerk 121, 1446 WV Purmerend. All other details (phone, fax, mail, website) will stay unchanged. From our new premises we will be even more capable to supply from stock the highest quality hoseclamps, tubeclamps, couplings and traffic sign clamps.
Cooperation and new general manager
As per January 1st 2012 we will start a cooperation with our customer Elementa Technik in Munich (Germany). Together with Elementa we are going to expand our program of couplings and clamps in Germany. This cooperation will bring some changes in our organization. Most important change is that our Mr. Jacco Groen will become our new general manager as per January 1st, 2012.

AUGUST 2011:
Improvement and new design ABA, acid proof, 12mm, Original (A4/W5)
The ABA brand of hose clamps enjoys a worldwide reputation for its superior performance, safety and endurance. Being a part of the NORMA Group, the ABA brand enjoys the benefits of access to a large group R&D department working for all brands and subsidiaries worldwide.
In line with the NORMA Group constant strive for improvements, we are proud to introduce a new design of a quality hose clamp in acid proof material!
The new product design includes an extra strong one-piece pressed housing, rolled-up band edges and a smooth band underside that protects the hose.
The new design results in:
- Improved idle torque
- Lower spreading of clamping force due to improved inner clamp surface
- Higher break (and by that safety) torque
The ABA 12 mm Original Acid Resistant is tested and approved according to SS 2298.
The new design clamps replace the Ultra W5. All deliveries after W 36 will automatically be replaced with the ABA Original S50 (W5).
The Swedish Standard SS2298 is and remains valid for all our products, as well as the products’ functional dimensions such as clamping diameter min/max, and supply diameter.

With its low profile and contoured ‘locking head’ the Cobra® cable tie is safer, smoother and stronger than traditional cable ties. Safer because the (often barbed) stub is now deflected into a pocket at the rear of the head… more flexible because the flat lock section curves to the bundle contour…and stronger because the Cobra® uses an ‘in line’ mating design eliminating the stress points of traditional cable ties

Cobra® cable ties offer true ‘second generation’ features, including:
• parallel entry into an ultra low profile latching head
